Has anyone else lost their ambition since having children?

I used to be soooo driven. I had to be the best at my job, worked all hours, used my career to define myself...

Now? Pffft. I would love to immerse myself in family life and give up, pretty much. I only do it for the money now, if I'm completely honest.

Is it just me?

My ambition popped out with my placenta and I have been looking for it since

I was never a maternal person pre children and always gave 110% to my career. I was good at my good and excelled at being oprganised, but I realised that I could not give 100% to work and still have 100% for my family.

I had every intention of returning to work, when DS1 got seriously ill at 4 months old and then I suddlenly realised - NO WAY

So I was going to quit, only to find out I was pregnant again. SO I am on a career break at the moment and devoting my time and energy to my family.

It works for us at the moment.

I will be looking for a job once the boys are both at school, BUT I want to be home for them once they finnish at 3pm and home for the holidays.
