I have been S/E for 5 yrs plus & I now have a temp job.....so how do I cope?

What mustn't I do?

tbh I really can't remember what it was like

I will be too bossy I just know it

It's very hard - I disapprove of so much that is happening

well, i doubt very much that any of that is policy!!!can you talk to your line manager about it and suggest ways of improving it? (i used to be very senior in local govt and this is what I would have wanted to happen)

also you can model good practice by your own behaviour and you can simply be better than them! you might get spotted by your boss - this is how i got promotion!

That is my line managers (& their bosses) behaviour

I will wait until I am leaving then give someone higher up a report or I will do nothing
