I currently work in HE and am pondering whether the NHS is a better bet of late.
I have previously worked in the NHS but have been in HE for a few years. I work in research on fixed term contracts, and have seen a role advertised in the nhs similar level but for more money and it is permanent. However I am aware of the intense struggles the nhs is facing and the impact on moral and staffing levels, with some of my former nhs colleagues being desperate to leave. Similarly the HE sector has some struggles with budgets which have impacted on pay. Any thoughts..?
