I have a new job, business development and office manager! I don't start the job for a couple of weeks. new boss wants me to draft an email to all customers to introduce myself. role is professional office and based around customer retention and working relationships.
What would you write?

Just looking for different suggestions I may not have thought of 😊

try chat gbt for helping you to word your emails etc appropriately.

A game changer - especially for those who are disabled (me) and who have imposter syndrome (also me).

Keep it far, far shorter than that ridiculous reply. I lost interest after the 1st paragraph.

So keep it short. Who you are, what your role is, looking forward to reaching and getting to know you.

Yes I agree, I don't believe it needs a 'draft'. I need to focus on getting to know the customers within the business before reaching out

Surely the main purpose of this email is so the customers know who to contact from now on - not something that can wait until you've had 1:1s with all of them (unless there are just a couple).

There's already someone on the team who is first point of contact, I meant get a profile of them from my boss before I contact them
