Hi everyone
I just wanted to know if anyone's experience going to the employment tribunal.
How long it took from submitting your case?
How long It took to get court hearing date
An lastly how long it took to get a decision beginning to end?
I understand everyone's case is different but just needed some words of advice.
I am in the process of submitting a claim
Thank you

I think am going to ahead with the tribunal
I have nothing to lose.my employer didn't follow the school sickness procedure. I had a fit for work certificate but they chose to ignore that. my solicitor is free so nothing out my pocket
I know emotionally it's going to be hard an A very long road
But am prepared for all that
I have a very strong family an friends network. They will help me get threw the bad days
An off course you guys are here to for all the moral support
Thank you to everyone who posted I have taken all you have on boardSmile

To be honest if they’ve dismissed you, taking them to tribunal will likely make them more careful about what they say. Whereas not doing anything, they will be more likely to think they can say what they like. Also there are no fees for employment tribunals. So submit a claim at least.

Well done op and good luck.

Once you've submitted your claim and a preliminary hearing has been held the judge might suggest it's a possible case for judicial mediation. I went through this but declined the offer from my employer hence why mine then went to a full ET.
Yes, tribunal fees are zero but counsel fees can be very high. Not to scare you, just worth considering.
I'm sure you'll be fine. You know the truth.
