I've got to sack someone......& I hate it

I took on an 18yo just before Christmas

After 3 weeks of work (tomorrow) she hasn't completed a weeks work (off sick twice, time off twice with either a weeks notice or a days notice) and then today she announced that she is leaving early as she has a yoga class

She only work 10 hrs

I feel that in the first few weeks of work you expect people to attend.......don't you?

I feel empowered (I think that's the right word )

So what does she do on Thursday's then? (did you notice she was off sick twice on the same day of the week)

The yoga was a Thursday too...

So - did the lazy trout ring you? Or are you sending a terminate your contract letter?

She turned up half an hour late

So I sacked her

fair enough, maybe she'll get the point now

And if not, not your problem
