Polycule falls apart

I expect people remember that Heather Herbert (charged in relation to social media comments he made after Ann Widdecombe's death) is in a polycule with Sophie Molly (aka Sparkles, aka Euan Weddell) and someone called Poppybear.

Molly, I believe, is a witness for Jolyon Maugham in Sarah Phillimore's libel case against Maugham.

Poppybear has been posting some very indiscreet posts on BlueSky about both Molly and Herbert, and it looks, tragically, as if the polycule has fallen apart.

According to Poppybear, Herbert's comments about Widdecombe "painted a bullseye on all of us", and led to the police coming in and "invading" all their devices (whatever that means).

Also according to Poppybear, living with Sophie Molly is "like being permanently slapped around the face by pathological laziness unless it's something that grooms her ego."

Oh dear.

In a separate development, apparently Herbert has had his toxic kidney removed by the NHS so the money donated to the fundraiser is going to be used for something else:

Do we know what the charges were?

He said assault in his video, but not who the victim was, although suspicions are that it was Herbert.

Looks like this was actually his 3rd court appearance

These men have no shame.

If the Greens have their way, nobody will be allowed to discuss issues like this. They're very keen on muzzling the Press - not surprising given the number of scandals they get involved in, but chilling nonetheless:

State regulation of journalists? What do they want here, a dictatorship?

Gah - posted the info about the Greens on the wrong thread. Apologies.

No worries. So much nonsense, so many threads...

... and it all adds up to one thing.

Pot noodle is still RAGING at the injustice of Herbert being called in by the cops whilst the near genocidal comments of that barrister calling him a man go unpunished

Also posted a selfie of him and herb.

He's going to be in London in early September. Maybe could swing by Cambridge on the way down and look in on Poppy?

I hate those cafes that you have to use a QR code to order and pay. I'd have walked out.

KittyWilkinson · 20/08/2026 12:02

Herbert's glee at Ann Widdecombe's murder has been reduced to " one hurty word" I note.
Totally delusional.

Seriestwo · 20/08/2026 12:38

He did say that Herbert is partially sighted and there is a white stick - but how do you manage that with crutches? Those aren’t nhs crutches. And he never mentioned it before.

and the 8k is still sitting there in limbo.

im fascinated by these men. They live such a strange life

I read somewhere and I wish I could remember where, that women are much better at accurately sexing men than men are. However, in this particular case, I am really surprised that the man who was deceived couldn't tell that this was a bloke.

Alcohol, darkness and he was a very naive young lad, probably selected on that basis. He was definitely the victim here.

TWETMIRF · 20/08/2026 13:14

One hurty word. I am guessing that 'Sophie Molly is a' doesn't contain any hurty words. If I add the hurty word 'man', that must surely be ok?

Yep. It was upsetting reading his mum's account. Poor kid.

If 'conversion therapy' is so heinous then how the fuck do trans people justify 'stealthing'? It's equivalent to corrective rape.

Interesting reference to the High Court there. He does know you can't just decide to take a case there, doesn't he? IIRC you have to have leave to appeal, then a successful appeal, and then it gets heard in the next Court up.

No, I'm pretty sure it's just about your own sense of self importance. Normo people go to pleb court, naturally, as befits their station. If you're convinced enough that you're special people you go to high court.

And apparently it's absolutely fiiiine for Herbs to use 'hurty words' but it's, like, totally genocidal to say anything Molly the Wally isn't keen on.

Which is it, Euan lovely? Free speech for all or just for you and your pals?

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 20/08/2026 17:06

The latter, of course. They are the only people who matter, after all.

I think he’s referring to Sarah Phillimore’s defamation case against Maugham - which would be in the High Court.

Wadsworthy · 20/08/2026 17:54

Sarah Philimore is a warrior queen.
