Wasn’t one TIM saying it was some kind of constellation or something?

Similar to the science that supports sun, moon and rising signs?

Theunchosenone · 06/07/2026 22:34

DumbfoundedAndUnhappy · 06/07/2026 22:32

No, women are people who are biologically female. And I know I should’ve been born with that biology

how do you know that? You say you know you should have been born female because you don’t “feel male”. So therefore to you, females are just “not males”. Can you see how offensive that is?

Theunchosenone · 06/07/2026 22:35

Nah, their science makes astrology seem like a legit branch of science.

SabrinaThwaite · 06/07/2026 22:35

From my own point of view, I’ve always worked in male dominated industries, I’ve always worn male coded clothing, and I’m way more comfortable in the company of a group of men than a group of women. My hobbies are generally those associated with men rather than women. I’ve never been particularly comfortable with my female body, but it’s what I have to work with (and I am eternally grateful that it produced DC).

And yet I’ve never once considered that I should have been a male.

What do you base this knowledge on that's more than a male feeling?

FlirtsWithRhinos · 06/07/2026 22:35

DumbfoundedAndUnhappy · 06/07/2026 21:47

I don’t know for sure tbh. I think if it was just ‘not male’, I wouldn’t feel so strongly that I should’ve been born female.

People feel very strongly about all sorts of things.

Many stalkers feel very strongly the object of their romantic obsession is genuinely in love with them, or would be given the chance.

Suicide bombers feel so strongly their cause is just they will literally die for it.

Incels and manosphere truly believe women exist to obey men.

It doesn't make them right.

Assuming you are telling the trruth, all we can say for sure is that your subconscious sees something in "women" it strongly identifies with.

We can't say if it's a real chacteristic of women that is being identified with, or a projection you place on the opposite sex because of associations and connections produced by your own mind (and these may not be obvious stereotypes either - minds can create a very personal inner symbolism).

But what we can say is (1) that whatever it is you feel is not the same thing as being of female body and it is simply unreasonable to expect society to pretend it is, and (2) while you may believe this thing is fundamental and essential to being a woman in a way that the sex of the body is not, many, probably most, women do not agree or even recognise whatever it is you are defining us by.

I was told I presented as female first, and I still haven’t had an answer to what you think that means.

If you answer that, I’ll answer your question. Deal?

I answered your question at 14.30.
I know you've been busy on this thread, but I have kept my half of the bargain.
I await your answer...

Off to bed now.

Maybe I don’t feel male because I really should’ve been female? And not the other way round

Why did you pick those specific examples?

murasaki · 06/07/2026 22:40

It's certainly not any kind of sense of being female that any actual woman recognises.

Factual real science built on a third hand knowledge of actual things and facts about females and ladies...

True. Very true. I mean, I think my cat sometimes feels he should have been born human. Still doesn’t mean he is

You have zero understanding of what it feels to be female.
Not being at ease with your male body does not suggest you were destined to be born female but fate/nature/malign forces intervened and spoilt it all 🙄

Judging by where my cat's sitting right now, she thinks she should have been a book.

Because they are all example of beliefs/worldviews which are clearly extremely wrong while nevertheless undoubtably so genuinely felt by the person involved that they act in extreme ways based on them.

Maybe it’s like the cats can also be “born in the wrong body”. Oh my days! My cat might actually be a human trapped in a cat’s body. Your cat might be trying to tell you they’re a book trapped in the wrong body.

Given she is sitting at one end of a shelf of hefty biographies, I can only assume that she believes she should have been born as a hybrid of Stalin, Mao and Nureyev.

Interesting. She is a bit dictatorial at times, but the dancing is not great....

SirChenjins · 06/07/2026 22:50

I feel like I should have been born in the 50s because I like the fashion, music and cars, but I wasn't - no matter how much I feel I should have been. Even if I put on a 1950s dress and buy a Chevvy Bel Air I will never be a woman living in the 1950s - sad times.

We’re prejudiced against male people performing womanhood (and in some cases claiming to do it better than we do)?
Bet your ass we are, mate.

As opposed to your mindset of ‘knowing’ what it’s like to be female, when you, as a male, can’t possibly have the faintest idea?
