Amelia Connolly - of the Scottish Greens and previously independence campaigners is being held on remand in a male prison.

He has also asked to take back his earlier guilty plea.

Perhaps the Greens plan to extend their claim that women should reframe their trauma and stop being bigots, and allow those men into their spaces as well?

I’d be delighted to introduce my kids to anyone I can think of on the gender critical side. Obviously they’re far too busy, but Helen Joyce, Maya Forstater, JKR, any of the women at For Women Scotland, Sex Matters, the fabulous Darlington Nurses, Sandie Peggy - all awesome role models.

Thinking about his comment about being diagnosed with the emotional age of a 12 yo when he was 17, it’s not uncommon for kids with ASD to be emotionally immature. I’ve certainly heard 5 years mentioned, though I put it down as a general rule of thumb rather than a diagnosis. But with most people with ASD it isn’t static. And there is a big difference between a 17 yo with an emotional age of a 12 yo and a 30 yo with the emotional age of a 25 yo.

It seems pretty clear that this man is in need of intervention and guidance. He has a well connected mother, I hope she steps in and takes steps to ensure he is supported and prevented from behaving inappropriately
