Five nurses working at Darlington Memorial Hospital have filed a legal case suing their employer, an NHS trust, for sexual harassment and sex discrimination. The nurses object to sharing the women’s changing facilities with a male colleague, Rose, who identifies as female. The hearing started on October 20th, with evidence starting on October 22nd and is scheduled to last 3 weeks. To view the hearing online requests for access had to be made by October 17th. The hearing is being live tweeted by Tribunal Tweets who have background to this case on their substack. An alternative to X is to use Nitter: nitter.net/tribunaltweets or nitter.poast.org/tribunaltweets

The Judge made clear at the start of the public hearing on Day 1 that only TT or press have permission to tweet. If online observers see/hear something in the court that isn’t reported by TT, we don’t mention it until the next time there’s a break. This is a very cautious approach to avoid any accusations of “live reporting” on MN. Commentary on the content of TT tweets is fine as soon as they’re posted on X.

NF CR used by about 300 women. Some upset
RH never occurred a risk or embarrassed
NF frightened? Never occurred to you?
RH no

And there we have the narcissism.

A REMINDER TO LIVE WATCHERS NOT TO COMMENT ON ANYTHING YOU SEE/HEAR UNTIL THE BREAK PLEASE.

That includes appearance and manner of the witness.

That's a lovely colouring sheet and I've been looking for a book of good ones. Do you mind saying which one it is?

For those who are watching has rose gone all out on the makeup and clothes?

no amount of lipstick can address that hairline.

He has shaved.

IDareSay · 04/11/2025 12:46

NF users changing to underwear - you first became aware of issues 2023 August. Also March 24 you became aware women upset
RH August I became aware. Lee became aware.
NF at both junctures, you decided to continue ?
RH uh hum

BigGirlBoxers · 04/11/2025 12:46

I second the reminder not to make personal comment on the appearance of the witness, except to the extent of legit comment relating to the issues at hand.

YouCantProveIt · 04/11/2025 12:47

Rose is sitting with his hands gracefully settled in front of him. One cups the other.

He is in a black dress with widely spaced white stripes. He had a large silver necklace, looks like an angel or amulet?

He has hair that falls to his very large and prominent breasts. His male pattern baldness leaves his widow peak very obvious and above his large forehead he had tufts of hair where it doesn't grow evenly. He has black framed glasses.

He answers with a questioning upward lilt. He appears completely non-plussed as to what is all the fuss about. He is a laydee so why all the fuss about using the ladies.

Chariothorses · 04/11/2025 12:47

Tt confirms he knew women were upset that he was present without their consent when they were undressed but continued anyway.
This is the definition of an abusive man. He shouldn't be anywhere near vulnerable women inc patients.

weegielass · 04/11/2025 12:47

are there any photos of RH arriving at the tribunal?

IDareSay · 04/11/2025 12:47

Feminaperfecta · 04/11/2025 12:48

Gosh even though I'm sure NF is making a good go at this, I would love for it to be NC instead.

IDareSay · 04/11/2025 12:49

TT

NF did you seek to understand their upset?
RH I wonder why after so long id been using CR
NF did you see the text of the letter? Meeting with Coppack and Moore. You discussed concerns
RH yes

NF you made a point of coming more to DSU ?
RH no

Hopalongalong · 04/11/2025 12:52

I do wish people would heed the warnings, it'd be such a shame if we lost access.
