I want to dedicate this thread to Bethany Hutchison, the lead 'Darlington Nurses' Claimant and her most iconic comeback I read in a long time:

"Mr Cheetham suggested that the nurses' use of the media interviews in which their trans colleague was named 'violated' Henderson's privacy.

Ms Hutchison replied: 'He [referring to Henderson] has violated my privacy and (that of) the women in that changing room and he has done that since 2019."

Bethany - if you are on here and reading this, your witness evidence in cross-examination was exceptional and I really mean it when I say it, you are ICONIC for standing firm and strong.

Full support to you and all the Darlington Claimants, kudos to you, ladies! Fully behind you 👏🙌👌

I haven't been able to follow the case but I'm glad she's doing so well. I can't understand why NHS Durham and Darlington are defending it. After the Supreme Court saying women are women, and even Fife introducing single sex facilities, what is there to argue about??

Agreed - she was brilliant in the face of this utter shite. It’s high time this complete crap was done away with once and for all and single sex facilities fully reinstated.

She should continue without any concerns. She has reality on her side and society will listen as it's is waking up to the be kind mantra being complete nonsense.

Be kind to 'needy' men who want to flash and stare at naked women ...no!

If only the men like Tyler and Theo had been told, "no" from the start, no women would have been put in a vulnerable position.

She was brilliant today. I could only catch about 90 minutes, but every time she spoke I felt like cheering. I would love to see Jane Russell cross examine her! Bethany would wipe the floor with Russell and her sneering, insinuating, accusatory questions. And imagine the eye rolls!

She certainly was. Great work, Bethany! You've done a really good thing there, laid it on the line.

Bethany was brilliant. Clear, articulate, and then perfect amount of anger when told they were embellishing. Enough to show exactly how these women feel. Not so much that it risked making her look bad. Perfect. If you’re ever in Durham let me know, I’d love to buy you a drink!

Bethany did fantastically well under the awful pressure in court. It would have been very hard and stressful.

In my view to settle these claims the NHS would have to repudiate gender ideology to some degree and either the people who would agree to the settlement just can't face doing that, perhaps for ideological reasons, or they're afraid of the backlash it might cause from the widespread trans activists within the NHS.

So they'd rather spend hundreds of thousands of pounds to lose cases to signal that they're holding the line and adhering to the ideology.

There are many terms to describe this. One of them is misconduct in public office.

I am going to have to refer to her as Bethany as I will confuse Hutchison and Henderson all through this case.

I honestly think her responses were absolutely on point, there is nothing that could be said better than she already has.

It's a really difficult environment for a non-legally trained individual and a high profile case, highly-charged, too.

And there's Bethany, standing tall, in her suit, bright and confident, absolutely knocking the socks off the other side's arguments.
