Welcome all, regulars and newcomers, to the Bluestocking Women's Pub, a place of refuge and inspiration and camaraderie and silliness, where all alcoholic drinks are non-intoxicating, cakes contain no gluten, sugar or calories, but still taste yummy, and the attentive staff are small but very professional rodents wearing snazzy little outfits.

Other roles - such as acting as foot stools, looking decorative in the garden, or just being impossibly cute when you need something impossibly cute to go awwww at - are filled by a team of miniature pigs, quokkas, wombats, etc etc.

If real life is difficult, you can bring your troubles to the Bluestocking and a comfy chair will be found for you at a roaring fire, a miniature pig will settle down happily to support your tired feet, and a gerbil will serve you promptly with a comforting drink - very large G&Ts or massive mugs of hot chocolate with extra cream and marshmallows are popular choices [don't forget: no calories in the Bluestocking].

Obviously I ❤all 🐕🐩but I particularly ❤Batshit, she's my kinda gal.

Skittles is sitting next to my left hand on the desk, currently considering whether to sit on it or not, but when I'm typing she objects and bites it so I hope she decides not to do that.

I have a blackberry and apple cake in the oven, and also a blackberry and apple crumble, so I will have to get up and check on those in half an hour or so anyway.

We left 20 minutes later than planned for Stratford but still with 25 minutes to spare.

Mop fair in Stratford so we arrived five minutes after the play began. Let in 5 minutes later.

It was superb.

Parking, getting to the hotel were all difficult but we had a lovely dinner and I'm now tucked up in bed struggling to stay awake.

I've had a lot of sleep to catch up with and I'm realising I've probably been quite ill and need to recover.

I may need to provide regular Batshit updates for Deano... They will mostly involve either stupidity or indecision. Or both. She manages both quite often.

And Brit, we used to have a cat who would sit on whatever paperwork you had next to your laptop. He'd do it very politely, as if thanking you for providing him with a special mat right next to whatever you were doing.

It didn't mean that he wasn't in the way, but it made you feel bad for moving him.

I thought I'd slept in today. Turns out that I hadn't.

The only urchin misdemeanors I'm aware of are stealing milk and causing crop circles by means of orgiastic sex, and Big Hedgehog always claimed both these are false accusations to be refuted, rejected and denouced.

I suspect Banned will be along at some stage looking pure and innocent.

Oh nothing too bad just told a TRA using women’s toilets that he had a a psychological issue and needed therapy rather than transition.

rainy day here… DH has gone food shopping, I’ve got a pot of veg drawer+tins soup on the hob so don’t need to wait for him to get back before lunch.
