Chrysostom means golden mouth (going entirely by my biologist's knowledge of Greek), how aptly named he is.

I think we need a lot more of this. It astounds me that we have gotten so far doen a path where this is even remotely controversial.

What a very brave man, but how ridiculous to have to be brave to state the obvious.

I actually knew about him, we know a lot about early Eastern saints in this family. It's his feast day on the 13th, maybe I should bake a cake in celebration. I bake a cake some years for Anna Komnene's (not a saint) birthday :)

He succinctly nails the responsibility where it truly belongs in this letter.

"This delusion has been institutionalised by the NHS – an organisation owned and operated by the UK Government – which now actively pursues the impossible. In doing so, it is inflicting irreversible damage on its own young citizens."

Really hope that he doesn't face a backlash

Thankyou for posting Wimbledon. I’m going to keep copies of the comparisons between a vagina/neovagina and a penis/neopenis, plus the lists of complications. I have a feeling these doctor-authored resources might be very helpful to any teenager considering these surgeries!

I note the other post on here just now looking at the Eunuch Maker and castration, including BIDD. Looking at WPATH's standards of care, v 8, which include 'eunuch' as an identity and recommend castration as a possible solution. And noting that Nottingham NHS trans clinic still links to those SoC.

When I read something so to the point and so clear I want to cry with both relief and frustration.
I only wish I could send it to members of my family to whom it'll be just further evidence of how much 'wrongthink' I indulge in. I'm so sad.
