'This isn't working' podcast exclusive report.

Some readers may recall Katie Neeves' training webcast session that was leaked a few years ago. This is the story of the subsequent fallout.

It seems Katie Neeves' friendship with the head of CIPD may have been the cause for a serious institutional capture, leading to persecution and hounding of women who objected to being exposed to Neeves' training session, which was at best highly inappropriate for a professional setting, at worst, deliberately involving unwilling women in a fetish.

Neeves did a webcast for CIPD professionals in 2022, in which he talked about stealing and wearing his sister's underwear. Many women objected.

The webcast was recorded and excerpts broadcast - there were threads on here at the time.

The CIPD then referred this to the police, and women were reprimanded and threatened.

The article goes on to question whether the CIPD is fulfilling its role properly and what needs to change.

Absolutely shocking story. Anyone involved in HR should read this.

Everyone knew what was going on with men like this until two minutes ago and now it's as if the elephant in the room has grown so big no one can see it at all.

Utterly shocking but utterly predictable at the same time.

A training consultancy named "Cool2Btrans". Isn't there a bit of a clue in the name that this might not be a professional organisation? I suppose Katie was sad to learn that Legz Akimbo was already registered.

Thanks for sharing, this is turning out to be a really great podcast to subscribe to. I just want to share a different clip of Katie Neeves in action -

Was on a CIPD webinar (am a member) yesterday discussing the implications of the SC ruling for employers.

The legal advisor said that trans women in women's spaces "never really pose an issue." I challenged it and got called a bigot for my troubles and that "the EHRC will correct the ridiculous judgement that is a clear violation of the Human Rights Act Art 6 freedoms..."

I did try 🤦🏻‍♀️

borntobequiet · 05/06/2025 12:25

What an utterly crappy name, Cool2Btrans. Cringeworthy.

There are so many of these 'training consultancies' with similar names and they all use each other as references.

And they go into schools to 'train' teachers and 'provide mental health support' to kids...

Merrilydancing · 05/06/2025 12:43

Bloody hell, how did I miss this. It have long since given up on attending anything to do with them but if I had been on yesterday’s webinar, I would have been backing up @FatLarrysBanned .

Wonder how much they are going to skin us next month for this shit.

SinnerBoy · 05/06/2025 12:47

I can't get it to play. Could someone tell me what CIPD stands for, please?

moto748e · 05/06/2025 12:53

Chartered Institute of Personnel Development

PaterPower · 05/06/2025 14:18

What’s with Michelle Hartley, apparently a Fellow of the CIPD? They’re featured towards the bottom (appropriately, IMO) of that ‘thisisntworking’ link.

If I had the misfortune to encounter them in a professional setting, I’d be giving serious side-eye to whoever’d wasted good money on having them in.

God I wish I hadn’t watched any of those video clips. What a creepy man.

I also find Neeves sets off alarm bells in my head every time I see him. I guess men like Peter Cheese don’t have those instincts and dutiful women presumably squash them as unworthy.

It's so weird that experts seem so compromised on this topic.

People seem upset that so many no longer trust experts - but why would they?

Shedmistress · 05/06/2025 17:35

So glad I left the corporate world before this really hit the fan.

Interesting link with Sarah Summers though, same person who is suing Brighton Rape Crisis for no female only rape crisis support isn't it? Good on you Sarah, what a trooper.

Boiledbeetle · 05/06/2025 17:40

Man gets off on talking about women's knickers and trampling on women's boundaries especially if the women are unconsenting women.

Idiotic people decide that would be the perfect man to employ and the topic of him wearing women's underwear, amongst other equally unsavoury topics, is just the topic to force their unsuspecting female staff to watch him talking about because "inclusion".

The unconsenting women then get in trouble for complaining and are reported to the police.

And people claim it's NOT a mens right movement! 🤔

This man actually makes my flesh crawl when he talks about certain things.

would you be prepared to share more info on that? Was it a branch training? Were there a lot of people on it? Was it recorded? Any big brands?

I’m also a member but I’m not good at keeping up with their training. I try and keep an eye out for the ones that might be mad like that Che Barnes ones last year with trans lions, non-binary hyenas etc. I’d love to know more about yesterday’s session though. By the way I’m one of the SEEN in HR team, might as well mention it up front as any search in here will see me shouting out for potential members!

His poor sister. Nasty creep.

BundleBoogie · 06/06/2025 07:45

Just then you think it can’t get any more bonkers - women being reported to the police for highlighting that their employer made them watch a training video with a man talking about his journey to ‘be a woman’ and his sexualised back history.

I’ve subscribed to Tanya de Grunwald though - thanks for the link.

Just to gather different threads together - Tania went to the Stonewall Conference with Maya and stated that the person presenting for the National Trust refused to shake Maya's hand.

I emailed the National Trust to ask if this was true and was told it didn't happen.
