NHS Policy Audit - working party - thread #2

1000 replies

KnottyAuty · 25/04/2025 15:32

This is a thread about “keeping the receipts” on NHS Policies prior to the Supreme Court ruling on 16th April 2025.

Our working theory is that there were no single sex spaces for NHS Staff or Patients in the entire country before that date, having all been removed by stealth. We are aiming to prove this by auditing websites and policies for all the UK trusts and using the results to raise public awareness. As well as recording what has happened historically, the information will form a baseline so we can check which Trusts comply or defy the judgement in due course.

We are working around the country region by region. If you fancy getting involved in a bit of grassroots feminism then please do join in to help!? Each trust takes about an hour to research and you can upload online without giving any personal details away. Comment below and we can give you the link to an online survey - it changes for each region.

Thanks soooo much to all the vipers who have helped so far and @ Twoloons for doing a great job with the thread wrangling!

I have posted on this thread before and have documents from my Trust which I don’t think has been done yet but I can’t figure out what to do with them. Could somebody be kind enough to post a link for the survey/email address or whatever so I can submit?

Hi thanks for this! We are working around the UK region by region. So if you can bear with us we will hopefully get to your area soon. There’s a new link for each region to keep the size of the files reasonable. Please do DM me your region and I’ll try to remember to flag when we get there. Thank you!

Hello vipers! Looks like you’ve been amazingly busy while I’ve been away. I’m not completely back yet, but I have a signal so if you give me a bit, I’ll see what the list looks like. Back shortly!

FannyCann · 30/05/2025 15:45

God that’s awful @nothingcomestonothing
My trust does have a Women’s network albeit open to anyone who identifies as a woman and not very active at all. Also I have dared to poke my head above the parapet once or twice eg pulling up the comms team for something gender neutral they posted about cancers and me pointing out that there are many sex specific cancers.

The Datix reporting scheme was updated last year. In late 2023 IT asked for people to submit test cases. As you can see from my test case of an elderly man called Albert Jones (NOT a real person, no personal information used) it asked for Gender ID after asking sex. In the comments I pointed out that Albert was confused and like many people in different medical situations would be unable to tell the reporter what his gender was.

After the update I was pleased to note the question was for sex only. (Not taking personal credit for this but clearly somewhere along the line gender was ditched).

I had assumed that the Datix system was the same throughout the NHS but maybe I’m wrong. Have you submitted one at all @nothingcomestonothing? Is it different at your trust?

Ok, the current state of the list is below (minus ones that have been submitted as I’m away from the back end at the moment). There may be mistakes, so shout if you spot any!

As I’m not really able to be online much, can I impose on you lovely people for a little bit longer? Can anyone who is still up for an audit find any trusts below that haven’t been claimed and let us know on here? Thank you so much - back to your regular service soon!

Hi there! Can you give me an idea of where in the country your trust is? We’ve have different forms for different areas, just to help us stay on top of things.

teawamutu · 30/05/2025 16:17

I'll take these two:
North East Ambulance Service NHS Trust
North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust

YellowRoom · 30/05/2025 16:36

I've submitted York and Scarborough - more of the same.

I can do The Rotherham

Sorry, looking back through the thread, might be stepping on your toes here @MadameBethune

ExDerryGirl · 30/05/2025 16:45

I can take Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

FarriersGirl · 30/05/2025 17:41

@KnottyAuty Finally completed Northumbria Healthcare. Another website carefully scrubbed at some point I would say. One thing I found in one of Ermine's FOI from 2021 was a completed application for Stonewall Diversity Champions scheme. I have not seen one before and it is quite extraordinary, not least its scale, 572 pages and nearly 25MB!!!!!! I could not get it to upload due to its size, and the pdf compression software failed with it as well. I have put a link in the last comment box. I cannot imagine how many manhours it would take to complete something like this, hundreds I should think.

@TwoLoonsAndASprout I can take another trust although it will be early next week before I get to it.

If you click on that little i by 'what is the patient's sex' I will bet you good money it says something like 'legal sex as shown on official documents such as driving licence or utility bill'. I.e., it's self IDed sex,not actual sex.

See also here : https://dailysceptic.org/2025/05/13/the-nhs-no-longer-recognises-the-reality-of-biological-sex/

And the WRN report 'Incoherent and Unsafe' for pages and pages of examples of screenshots from the online systems different Trusts use. The NHS is extremely thoroughly captured and all the data is dirty at this point, both on patients' sex and staff sex.

I don't believe there is an NHS Trust which can confidently say it knows the actual sex of either its patients or its staff (and every staff transgender policy I've seen says that staff can change their work ID, staff records etc at will, and their previous data will be hidden for them by the Trust). My Trust uses ESR for staff records - I could choose a new 'gender' anytime I like, but nowhere does it record my sex. It uses Epic for patient records, which has fields for 'legal sex ' (self ID) and 'sex assigned at birth' (always blank). All the data is corrupted.

The NHS No Longer Recognises the Reality of Biological Sex – The Daily Sceptic

It's going to take more than a Supreme Court judgment to flush gender pseudoscience out of the NHS, says Caroline Ffiske. In every policy and definition the NHS has dropped biological sex in favour of subjective feelings.

If my calculations are correct, then I think that all the trusts are now allocated for NE England. However a few people seem to have multiples allocated and may want to offload. So I will post an update tomorrow morning and we can divvy up any last ones.

By way of an update...I'm hoping we will get the last of the London coverage in the national press on Monday. Not sure what is happening with the Midlands yet. And I am still to finish the final checks on East of England... So you are all over-taking me - I can't keep up - which is a wonderful problem to have! Thanks all xx
