Transphobes are obsessed with genitals.

Cis means not trans, educate yourself.

SinnerBoy · 29/04/2025 12:23

Educate yourself.

By watching YouTube videos, produced by refugees from Rampton.

This one is best when it’s used by people
who weren’t born when S28 was overturned against people who campaigned for it’s removal.

I came out during Section 28.

I’m actually glad I did it then instead of now. There was a whole welcoming, varied, women-only lesbian scene for me to jump into.

popefully · 15/05/2025 12:21

"Men are now starting to be aggressive to women in toilets, ever since the SC judgement. Even women who believe themselves to have energy that usually belongs exclusively to male people!"

ArabellaScott · 15/05/2025 12:22

Aye, that one is particularly bizarre logic, popefully.

'Men are attacking women in women's loos, therefore we urgently need to admit males to all women's loos forthwith'

"Men sometimes buy their wives lingerie" is going to become the new "you have a gender neutral toilet at home", isn't it?

I'm shamelessly resurrecting this thread from the dead.

Its now August. We need to update the Bingo list. Again.

Quite a lot has happened.

Greyskybluesky · 06/08/2025 19:53

Good to see this thread again.

When it started we still had the laugh emoji! We needed it then and we really need it now!

TRAs: terfs are sooo far right, they're basically best mates with Hitler

Also TRAs: Oh hiiiiii Reform and Anne Widdecombe! 😍

Waitwhat23 · 06/08/2025 20:02

There's certainly been an uptick in bizarro conspiracy theories from our regular TRA's. I'm convinced that one is going to start ranting about reptilian humanoids soon.

Oh and 'elimination ideology' or similar needs to go on the bingo card too.

What gets me is that if all these women were really being harassed and accused of being men 'all the time' before, why is it only a problem now that males aren't allowed in? Why do they only claim to care about women now, not before?

You should look at the delightful Sophie Mollie's twitter.

It's EXACTLY like that.

I find this short hair = male idea very odd. My DM (b. 1927) had short hair all her life. It was the fashion of her youth and she did not abandon it in the 70s when long hair was a thing for both men and women. I, as a child, had a short bob till I decided to emulate a friend who had long plaits, which I wanted! But short hair for women has been a thing since the 20s when cutting off long hair was seen as signalling that you were a liberated woman.
Men have worn long hair throughout history e.g. every one of the heroes of the Odyssey will have had flowing hair which was worn loose or in plaits. The Spartans at Thermopylae spent the night before combing and oiling their hair in preparation for the battle (wanted to look their best). Ditto Vikings (who went in for a variety of plaiting including what are now called 'corn rows'), most men in the Middle Ages (fashions vary, sometimes very short hair was 'in' esp if helmets were being worn that season!), most men during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries (either worn loose, or a wig, or tied back with ribbons, with various arrangements of side curls), and hair to the collar was the norm for much of the nineteenth century. Very short hair was a mid-twentieth century fashion that had a lot to do with two massive wars and the fight against head lice, and went out of fashion by the 70s. This is a European pattern, but repeats in various ways all over the world throughout history (go and look at the warlike Assyrians on show at the British Museum, all long curly hair and curly beards).
So why does short hair = male? Long hair would appear to = male for most of history.
What new anti-trans law? Do they mean the stating of the blindingly obvious old law that sex = biological sex and transwoman = male?

EmpressaurusKitty · 07/08/2025 09:25

When I was at school in the 80s, half the girls in my class had short hair.
One of the things that struck me watching Live Aid again recently was the range of hair lengths for both sexes.

It's one of the things that's been noted - that the trans issue has raised the stakes in presenting masculine or feminine; If you misread the cues you could be in danger of committing the grave sin of misgendering. So, people people subconsciously oblige by presenting in a more unmistakably masculine or feminine manner, if not because they care about being misgendered, then so as to not cause stress for other who perceive them ambiguously.

"just doing her job" is the new "just wants to pee" isn't it?

Despite the fact that it's a different department than the one they worked in, on a different floor, the store policy is not to approach customers, it's a teenage girl on her own, it's the lingerie department and many, many women don't want it because it makes them feel uncomfortable to be approached by a man.

All these points are irrelevant and aren't even thought about.

Further than that there's no thought given to the question whether the staff member regularly approach customers routinely - against store policy, and whether this was a one off occurrence. If they did it regularly then why did no manager note it and stop it. If it is a one off, it's even worse, because it demonstrates the staff member was being opportunistic and had singled out the girl...

Gametes are SOOO complicated we don’t know enough about them yet,

I have a humanities PhD in a field that is a nexus to it and therefore I am the world authority. Evolutionary biologists are morons. Give me all the funding to solve humanity’s most pressing issue. Our liv(lihood)es depend on it.

My cutting edge research on how we will all become Adira Tal from Star Trek: Discovery will save the world.
