If you would just talk to a transwoman you'd understand

A cubicle with a lockable door is not safe for transwomen to use in men's spaces. Transwomen cannot go to the police if they are attacked as police are only interested in protecting TERFs. This is completely different to women being told the same thing about men in the ladies.

RedToothBrush · 28/04/2025 16:41

Men will pretend to be transmen.

OverpricedCupcake · 28/04/2025 16:48

You're all Hitler.
Oh no, that's not new...

SirChenjins · 28/04/2025 18:26

The judgement only came about because transwomen were silenced and weren’t allowed to tell the judges what it’s like to live in the wrong body.

'You're all old and will die soon and then society can accept the new world order'

Seen today!

JanesLittleGirl · 28/04/2025 19:12

There's no actual law that prevents you from using the toilet of your choice.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 20/04/2025 09:33

biology is so regressive

the judges didn’t take advice from trans people

why would they, you go to a biologist or a scientist, not someone that thinks they know about biology but instead you would go to a university qualified person.

otherwise would you go to bob or sue in the pub about medical advice without any training etc the answer would be no, so they you have it

Edited

but the law should care about facts first ?

Anonym00se · 28/04/2025 19:24

To be fair it’s the anti-trans lot who are still incessantly banging on about it.

Tallyrand · 28/04/2025 20:50

"I'm a Cis woman and don't feel like my rights were being impinged upon"

I agree! Remember this is bingo thread?!

Trans women. Some of you guys would probably have been fighting to keep segregation if you lived in the US in the 50s.

And it's back to day 0 of transactivists comparing males to black women.

It feels like we need a new bingo card since the judgement

Nadia Whittome came up with a few old ones and about who had struggle in the women’s loos. From what I recall these included:

Cis lesbians (her words), transmen, black women, women with PCOS and non binary people. The last one got me confused unless Nadia doesn’t really believe in the ‘not a man or a woman’ idea after all.

Bluegreencat · 28/04/2025 21:29

‘Birth and biological sex are whatever we say they are’
’using the disabled loos would be outing’

IfYouPutASausageInItItsNotAViennetta · 28/04/2025 21:37

Assistantarchibald · 20/04/2025 12:03

‘Enjoy genital inspections’

(Where were all the seemingly necessary genital inspections when women were being excluded from voting, accessing education, employment and financial services?)

’[men] can only be excluded on an individual basis if it’s a proportionate means of a legitimate aim’

(Legitimate aims include privacy, dignity and safety of women, proportionality is on a policy-by-policy basis, not individual)

’I can piss where I want’

Just out of interest, I wonder what their reaction would be if women called their bluff and got together and did pretend to agree to genital testing as standard before people were allowed to enter protected women-only areas?

Whilst it would be a deeply unpleasant and outageously intrusive ordeal in order to prove what should be stinking obvious, I rather think that one of the two conflicting groups would have considerably more to lose at the prospect of it.

Cheek swabs would be easier

SidewaysOtter · 28/04/2025 21:41
  • Everyone knowing a butch woman all of a sudden, who may or may not be a lesbian;
  • Reference to loo police/genital inspections;
  • "Trans people will probably end up in camps" (seen on TwiX);
  • "TERFs are all mingers" (also seen on TwiX);
  • Goodwin v UK 2002 as the piece of legislation that will "save" trans people.
SirChenjins · 28/04/2025 21:45

spannasaurus · 28/04/2025 21:40

Cheek swabs would be easier

Of course - but they’re not sufficiently dramatic.

StellaAndCrow · 28/04/2025 21:49

"That's othering"
"They want to banish us from society"

(on being offered e.g. a private hospital room or individual changing room)

ThatsNotMyTeen · 28/04/2025 22:11

“Cis men are the problem not trans women”
”TW can no longer identify as lesbians”
”Trans people have always existed”

ThatsNotMyTeen · 28/04/2025 22:11

The genital exam tantrum makes zero
sense. If we’ve never had them before, why would we need them now?

user101101 · 28/04/2025 22:13

Intersex
The far right

ThatsNotMyTeen · 28/04/2025 22:16

I’m making a bold prediction here, but when the EHRC produces guidance on sports I anticipate the following addition to the bingo card…

”Michael Phelps”

peanutbuttertoasty · 28/04/2025 22:18

Just look what they did to Alan Turing

moto748e · 28/04/2025 22:27

“Cis men are the problem not trans women”

I think that one's going to be a major line of attack. Haven't RTFT; have we had

"Changing toilets in millions of buildings all over the country; it's going to cost a fortune!"
