I would see this as I think as what is called (I think) a "kite flyer".
And also suspect that it is the Times wanting to really lay it on thick about Reform. Any notional lead that Reform has is about asylum seekers, nothing what so ever to do with self id.
And doubt that many in the UK will have any detailed knowledge of Trump's EO although many have some sympathy re women's sport.
I think Labour is a bit overwhelmed at the moment.
Everything that is meant to be part of their new dawn doesn't seem to work, and they are trudging through treacle to make an impact.
And much as the trans community might hate it, I think that for Labour having a few rainbow flurries about Labour letting them down, will not be half as worrying for them as not being able to persuade the financial market they know what they are doing, and them not being able to stop the small boats.
Will wait to see by the end of the week if this is still in the news.
If it is there might be an interesting fight with the W&EC who will probably get very upset!
