I really enjoyed this

The format worked really well. Jack played Helen a clip of an activist (GC or trans) and asked for Helen's thoughts on it. Helen was on the money as usual.

I found out about this podcast because India Willoughby was ranting about it on Twitter. So, err, thanks for the recommendation, India 😉

I absolutely love listening to Helen Joyce, she talks complete sense and is so clear. Sent some links to my terfy neighbour who hadn't come across her before and now she's a fan too.

Thank you for posting. That was a interesting format to watch. Helen really has a way of describing things that makes it all feel fresh, even though most of it is what she has discussed before. And he made it all easy.

You'd love to have had HJ as a teacher. Failing that - go for an ould drink with her. She used to edit the Economist and is therefore probably a Tory. Presumably the sane and compassionate sort we often hear about , usually at election time , but never get to meet in real life. Or is that too large an assumption?

yes, I think she describes herself as a centre right tory. Of all the good and sensible people on our side working to kill the gender bollocks with fire, I think Helen is probably the very best there is at explaining in crystal clear terms what is going on. She is also very, very calm. How she didn't end up throwing rotten fruit at Fred during that "debate" with tatchell et al., I shall never know.

I'm on the left myself but once had a great Eng Lit teacher who was High Anglican and old fashioned one nation Tory. But his sort have gradually been driven out since the 80s. In some respects I quite like the Tories being led by grifters, racists and lunatics, even though they have caused such harm. With some one like Helen in charge they might sweep the country.

Rotting from the inside out could be a real possibility for anyone with a fuck hole cavity implanted into their body. Just pointing out that that is not an impossibility.

IW has become increasingly unpleasant on X. India usually restricts responses
so only the loudest of TRA voices can interract, but when they leave responses open, there a pile on of digusted voices.
