I don't mean byline, I mean whatever you call the first paragraph which is in bold...

If they look like a man, sound like a man and behave like a man...

AgathaMystery · 14/08/2024 18:16

Just to be clear that I wouldn't be seen dead in that weird photoshopped dress!

Dunno but it’s not a full shilling, whatever it is.

😂😂😂😂😂😭😭

DontStopMe · 14/08/2024 18:26

Surely 'semi' is half, and 'bi' is two, so semi-bi- must be monosexual?

Someone needs to check on little Owen Jones. He will not be ok.

I'm not sure twitter has clocked it yet. The fact it hasn't been "corrected" yet makes me think not.

I just went on to the website and the article is on there in all it's misgendering glory.

Thesquarerootofnotgivingafuck · 14/08/2024 18:33

I wonder how often penis news check on the witches of Mumsnet?

Eminybob · 14/08/2024 18:35

I'm sure they will have an undercover agent posing as a first time mum looking for breastfeeding advice

He is only attracted to semibis. If he finds one, that might prevent two other people being miserable.

Thanks for that image. It will be etched upon my brain forever.

RadicalisedPastThePointOfSalvation · 14/08/2024 18:38

I think semibisexual is a sexual orientation for the half-hearted. You’re attracted to both sexes but can only muster a semi for each.

Anyone remember the Monty Python song "Eric the Half a Bee"?

"Is this wretched demi-bee
Half asleep upon my knee"

Chersfrozenface · 14/08/2024 18:42

I had to look up the term for the first paragraph in bold which summarises or introduces the story. It's called the "lead paragraph", "blurb paragraph", "teaser text" or traditionally in the UK the "standfirst".
