Mr A Challenor and his ilk are prominent in the “furry” community and especially online.

The tails some of them use are attached to butt-plugs.

There’s a very obvious reason why dressing up as a fluffy animal in a baggy costume and entering areas where children may ask to come up and hug you might be a suspect occupation.

And that’s before you add in the creepy fetish that commonly goes along with being furry, of wearing a nappy you can soil in public.

Paraphilias cluster. Men who dress up in public places as anything they are not, for sexual thrills, are more likely to be exhibitionists and sex offenders as well.

I’ve been reading accounts on Twix from ex police officers, who trained back when it was well understood that men in women’s clothing in public were fairly likely to also be sex offenders, particularly those who invaded women’s spaces. They describe watching, initially with mystification and then horror, as mention of this obvious fact became forbidden.

We need society to return to sanity and stop encouraging any open signs or displays of sexual behaviour in public.

'Pointing the finger'?

Maybe that should be 'pointing the paw'?

nauticant · 28/07/2024 15:25

Perhaps this shouldn't have been an article to be given prominence by the Twitter account of The Guardian:

Furries are handy for explaining trans to people though. Just ask them if they think furries really are born into the wrong species, and whether furries are 'real', and watch the pennies drop.

eatfigs · 31/07/2024 13:30

I wonder if there's a link between childhood overconsumption of cartoons, most of which feature anthropomorphic animal characters, and pretending to be a fox or hedgehog or seagull or whatever these guys do, as an adult.

Bollocks - I don't think Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol and Sesame Street leads to weirdos in fake fur animal costumes or all of North America would have been overrun with furries since the 80s.

Signalbox · 31/07/2024 14:37

A youth told me this recently. Said that furries at his uni are given the same protection as trans. 😂

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/08/2024 00:42

Why wouldn't they be? They're equally meaningful identities in my view.

WallaceinAnderland · 01/08/2024 01:00

Lots of furphobia on this thread 😡

SinnerBoy · 01/08/2024 01:09

It's not fur, it's nylon, so you may relax, Wallace

Oh Gabriel, blow your horn!

The choice of animal personas neatly aligns with screen animals, esp dogs, dragons and wolves. Very few dung beetles amongst them which is strange given the smell and scat fetish of many of these perverts.

Unclench your butt dear Wallace. Never mind the tail.

Well that was a positively refreshing sane start to my day, not long ago all those tweets would have been gone!!

TheCadoganArms · 01/08/2024 07:41

It's a kink/fetish that has found it's way into the public space via the increasingly accommodating '+' bit of alphabet mafia.

RedToothBrush · 01/08/2024 07:43

Why are the guardian so pro furry?

Pointing the claw

Why are people always pointing the finger at furries?

Nitter version.

The comments are worth reading. However... I'm almost afriad to ask... but what exactly is 'vore'?

My favourite comment is " How am I supposed to answer that without knowing the opinion of 17 drag queens?!"

qwerty14 · 01/08/2024 10:45

Theres a certain faux naiivity about the Guardian.
Transwomen just want to pee!
Furries just want to identify as animals!

They never admit to the darker motivations of male kink and fetish, they are just so used to sweeping any unsavory motivations under the carpet.
Men just want to breastfeed, it's nothing to do with fetish! 55yr old men want to dress as schoolgirls but it is just their inner identity!
They have lost the ability to analyse anything with truth and they are unable to admit how complicit they are in this deception.

They want men to be able to exibit kink wherever they want and for it to be normalised in the mainstream but they won't admit that is their aim.

Because to acknowledge the dark side to this would demolish the gender woo movement to the wider public who are still just about onboard with the sparkly rainbow be kind movement. They are not naive, they know what the score is but they are now in sunken cost falicy territory as to admit they were wrong is to admit that they were happy to put women in danger in order to support this ideology.
