I came across this by chance, but it so well put together by Lucy Hunter Blackburn, that I hope not only FWR will appreciate it but share it.

The "drift" in what used to be called VCS groups, particularly those that on paper are there to represent other,s is in fact very common. Especially as they have a "favoured" position with politicians, both local and national. And are too often, the first point of call in terms of so called consultations.

But in the instance of safeguarding the provision of single sex services something we all need to learn about, and devise ways to prevent it.
