I'm not sure of the details but some fool from Novara media said something (I suspect it followed along from the Izzard lie that trans were the most persecuted demographic by the nazis🙄). JKR demanded an apology which was forthcoming. However, the tras have latched onto this, accusing JKR of using her wealth to crush an honest journalist who was just telling the truth Guv🙄🙄. They don't even care they're just trying to needle JKR and, of course, bully/shame anyone who they suspect of offering her a modicum of support. Evil fuckwits.

The Nazis genuinely did burn books which contained research on transgender surgery, "third genders" and so on. Rowling might not have been aware of this, but she was (perhaps unintentionally) denying one of the Nazi's many crimes in that tweet. Whether that makes her a holocaust denier is something mumsnet isn't exactly best equipped to litigate...
