Deeply relieved that the women in the prison he was in (both guards and inmates) are safe from this vile man. Just horrendous that they had been put in this situation at all.

Good news but his move to the male prison is far later than it should have been and only after a huge amount of negative publicity. Until policy is changed to exclude all males from women's prisons then this should be considered a political one-off.

Also how stupid is it that a newspaper can write about this horrible man being sent to a male prison and they're still referring to him as "she". Media outlets using untruthful language is still part of the problem. Even reading good news like this pisses me off tbh!

About bloody time. I'd like some reassurance that his father is serving time somewhere too. He appears to be a monster and created a monster by his behaviour towards his child. In the UK, I would expect someone as damaged and violent as BK to end up in a high or medium secure psychiatric unit, but I don't know how much capacity there is for that in Ireland.

I thought Barbie was turned down for a GRC?

This person surely can't be released even at the end of his sentence? Other prisoners have to be locked up before he can be taken out of his cell and multiple prison officers need to be present? That's along the lines of Charles Bronson type behaviour, and he won't be paroled any time soon.

I understand that BK was serving time as a minor child for the attach on a female social worker who was driving BK from court, then there was the attempt to section and the evidence in that case led to the current charges.

Barbie Kardashian should have never been put in a women's prison, should have been moved earlier too, once the news had got out. I hope his mother has changed her identity and got the fuck out of Ireland.
