You do not need to have read thread 1 – this is not that sort of thread.

But to recap… Over Christmas and New Year after the passing of the GRR (Scotland) Bill a thread was started with a poem about Nicola Sturgeon. Eventually on that thread (and a couple of other threads) over 80 poems were written.

“Under the Duvet of Darkness: Poems written by angry women for angry women because WOMEN WON’T WHEESHT” was published as a paperback on 31st March 2023.

In a rather bizarre turn of events at one point it reached No 2 in poetry best sellers and No 5 in Feminist Criticism best sellers. No one will be surprised to discover that a book that is in the main about people, especially men, claiming to be something they are not was kept off the No1 spot in poetry best sellers by a crime novel, identifying as poetry, written by a man ;-)

E-BOOK:

Some people wanted an e-book rather than a paperback, but for that we needed someone who could actually make an e-book and some extra poems.

FairyKindleMother came to the rescue with regards the e-book and posters wrote enough poems that we could add 20 more poems into the e-book.

I pressed publish on the e-book a few hours ago. It can take usually up to 3 days to appear and populate all the info etc on the various sites, and there is always the chance they knock it back for some reason. But I've done all I can do at this point. We just have to wait and see who spots it on sale first! It will appear on the Amazon link above hopefully soon, (or I'll get an email asking me to change something).

As I started work on the e-book posters continued to write poems. So we had a choice: leave them there, languishing on the thread, unloved, forgotten, never to have their words uttered again OR we could just do volume 2.

Posters voted for Volume 2 but we still need more poems!

And that’s the gist of thread 1.

Just having a quick break from turning books into e-books and catching up with the thread. Talk of named Kindles does make my heart sing, I'm all for people being attached to their Kindles, after all e-books are a wonderful way to read books. Biased, me? No! Not at all. @ScrambledSmegs give my love to Kevin. 😍

I'm really enjoying the new poems. 'The Sparking Path' by @Brokendaughter is wonderful.

We've added another e-book sale on to the total today which means we've sold 50 books so far this month!

I live in faith that the wider MN massive will see this one day and also buy a copy. Can you imagine. I think theres around 12 million users. If most of them bought a book it would be huge.

There are cuckoos in the nest.

So bloody insistent that the LGB
Join up and partner with the ubiquitous T.

Just at the point of being equal,
And accepted as just regular people,
The cuckoos, they came along,
Declared that people were wrong.

That sexual attraction is not based on your sex,
Apparently, it’s really much much more complex.
It’s now all about the gender feels,
Despite whatever undressing reveals.

Insisting a son can now be a daughter.
That’s what the teachers at school have taught her!
That a person’s genitals need no checks,
And it matters not if you’re XY or XX.

Just because she fancies women,
And not the men who want to be them,
She’s now seen as being homophobic,
Just because she won’t suck a man’s dick.

The T have managed to push the LGB out,
Whilst claiming all their political clout.
They’ve even claimed to throw the first stone,
And have taken the spoils for their selfish own.

They've forced on people a partnership,
Whilst all their words they've tried to strip.
Without bothering to try and find,
If any usurped would actually mind.

22nd December 2022 Nicola Sturgeon throws the women of Scotland under a bus

11th June 2023 the police arrest Nicola Sturgeon!

Not even 6 months. Back at the end of December there is no way I ever imagined this is where we would be.

Not in my wildest imaginings!

We can only wait to see what transpires beetle
