So according to Love Honey women are 'vulva owners' but men are still allowed to be referred to as male'.....

And this is where it feels so very misogynistic to me. Males get to keep ‘male’ but using the term ‘female’ is considered a bridge too far and is flung unceremoniously under the bus.

I’m pretty new to this. I have to admit I used to be part of the ‘be kind’ crew. I gave an inch and they took a mile.

I’ve had enough.

This is exactly what we said. It's the blatant sexism and misogyny.

My DH said the exact same thing. He was very much on the fence but things like this have tipped him into having very definite views about biological sex.

People don't own body parts. Gloves for hand owners anyone? Hats for head owners? Trousers for leg owners? It's laughable and it's just really bad writing. If they are too scared to say women there are a hundred less offensive ways to leave it out. They do it this way to purposely stand out and signal their virtue.
