We use oat, almond or coconut “mylk” (yep with the woke spelling).
Due to dairy and soy allergies.
We absolutely believe that oat mylk wants to look like milk, react like milk, taste like milk, be better than milk….. But it isn’t. It is an obvious substitute/alternative that some people insist is better than the real thing.
These delusions are occurring more and more in society - not just in the alternative mylk aisle of the supermarket.

Oat milk is not milk (oat mylk is not milk!).
An alternative or substitution is not the genuine article it seeks to replace.
