This person is removing the title pages (and unsurprisingly the copyright pages) from Harry Potter novels so that author attribution is removed in order to sell on for a (considerable) profit to those who 'need to feel safe'.

As has been pointed out elsewhere, European copyright law includes the right for attribution i..e the right to be recognised as the author of a work.

I mean yes, breach of copyright law but also how mad to pay this chap £140 when you could say get your mate to buy it for £10 and just rip out page 1!

Either way jkr gets their royalty as the original book has been bought so that's better than most copyright infringement cases.

Honestly, it's got to the point where I laugh at (some) HP fans' obsession with the books and the hatred they probably feel for themselves for liking them as it's written by a transphobic bigot. As JKR herself said, "Cope and seethe."
