"When did feminism become a dirty word?"

Thank you for share token.

ValancyRedfern · 03/12/2022 19:08

Fantastic article. You can tell she's been waiting a long time to write that!

hystericaluterus · 03/12/2022 19:10

I love her.

Saucery · 03/12/2022 19:12

That is fantastic!

weegiemum · 03/12/2022 19:20

Brilliant article!

Igneococcus · 03/12/2022 19:20

She managed to pack a lot into this article.

Barnstorming piece!

SallyLockheart · 03/12/2022 19:22

Exactly on point as always. Thanks for the share token @Igneococcus

RethinkingLife · 03/12/2022 19:22

I admire writers who can express ideas clearly and succinctly.

I hope this is a congenial outlet for her and her colleagues more civil.

Byfleet · 03/12/2022 19:23

Wow! Brava! 👏🏼👏🏼

bge · 03/12/2022 19:28

A LOT. Of her examples are American which is irritating. I know she is American but they don’t bear a lot of relevance to our lives. I don’t see why planned parenthood or Donald trump mean more to a woman in Bristol than anything happening in Spain or France or Australia

BreadInCaptivity · 03/12/2022 19:31

Wonderful!

WarriorN · 03/12/2022 19:34

Ooooh wonderful!

Like sipping on a sparkling mn champagne.

Hadley unleashed is a fine read. 👏

To be fair, she points out the disparity between American and British feminist history.

We do need to take note of the impacts over there, especially as people here use those examples to say our protests and boundaries are erroneous, as its currently trump et Al championing those boundaries. The left in America are mostly tra.

nilsmousehammer · 03/12/2022 19:38

Excellent.

AnneLovesGilbert · 03/12/2022 19:41

That is absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much for the share token, I loved every work. She’s great. They’re lucky to have her and she’s been given a brilliant platform with a strong clear voice.

UnderHisEyeOverMyDeadBody · 03/12/2022 19:43

Thank you for sharing.

Great article, although I read these lately and can’t help but feel deflated as I seem to be surrounded by Stone Walled gender ideologists (work I’m looking at you) or people who just don’t care/just don’t realise the impact of it all.

Does anyone know where/how one can watch the Adult Human Female documentary that Hadley mentions?

Helleofabore · 03/12/2022 19:44

Thank you Hadley!!! Great read.

Ponypitter · 03/12/2022 19:46

Fantastic writer - so happy she's free to write now.

TheKeatingFive · 03/12/2022 19:47

I could not love her more. All the plaudits to her for staying strong and not being silenced. So many female commentators have disappointed so much on this issue.

dapsnotplimsolls · 03/12/2022 19:54

Blimey, she's covered a lot in that article! Thank you for the share token.

DMDCAGM · 03/12/2022 19:57

Amazing article. HF is a great writer (I thoroughly recommend her book House of Glass btw).

She and Janice Turner are almost edging me towards buying the Times, instead of relying on (very generously shared) share tokens on MN.

Whereareyourshoes · 03/12/2022 20:03
