Disability History Month started on 16th November, I've had a quick look at the tweets from the Senedd and I can't see anything that they've tweeted about it. I'm not on twitter so I may have missed something.
I also had a look for #DisabilityHistoryMonth, alot of the tweets I found under that were people complaining how little notice there was of it.
I've had 'Yma o Hyd' (Still here) as an earworm for the past few days. I'm not complaining it's a cracking tune, and women, real women, despite everyone and everything are also still here. Anyway, the song introduced me to Dic Sion Dafydd. A Welsh man who went to London and denied his reality as a Welsh man, refusing to speak his native tongue even to his own mum. It struck a chord with me, but regarding women who support transpeople (which is laudable) but throw other women under the bus.
