I will never stop finding it odd to see how much effort goes into discrediting people I would barely have heard of if it hadn't been for all the efforts to discredit them.

And when the efforts to discredit them involve linking them with someone I'd know even less about if it hadn't been for all the efforts to discredit them.... well I have to close the curtains and go and lie down.

The accusation of far right has become so overused we now shrug and don't accept it as fact.

Andy Ngo has upset a wide range of people, which is interesting.

He has had to go into hiding because of threats on his life, for reporting and opinions.

These facts make him very interesting and make me wonder where the truth might lie in these very murky waters.

I'm not sure how I'd find out without dedicating days of research using a variety of sources which I don't have time to do.

But I think I might follow him on Twitter and hear directly from him and form a judgement over time on that basis.

As he's an American journalist, this didn't seem to ring true. So I googled it. Google tells me the man is reported to have recently relocated to London to escape the violent threats against him back in Portland, Oregon.

I disagree. Andy Ngo does inconsistent work. He got it right on Wi Spa...in fact, he broke the story, if I remember correctly. But he also got other facts in other news sources wrong, from some BLM protests/rioters to the Rittenhouse killings.

I wouldn't hire him to be a reporter because he doesn't follow journalistic protocols, sometimes he undercovers verifiable facts, sometimes he fudges them. Ngo is a crapshoot.

3. 1 and 2 have literally nothing to do with each other or with the thread which is about men copying a woman’s idea.

I love the confidence people have in knowing whether Andy Ngo is 'good' or 'bad' and that this tends to correspond nicely to when he reports critically of things you are also critical of: good, and critically of things you like: bad.

I'm sure there are many many people critical of his reporting on Wi Spa.

Andy Ngo is important because he's prepared to report on things no one else will touch, go to places no one else will go and say things no one else will say.

Also important because he's not just a typical journalist.

Saying all that I wouldn't be abe to say whether he's good or bad, whether his reports on certain sitautions were accurate, as I don't know. But he's one source giving a different point of view from the main stream media and thank fuck for that.
