Actually, three people, all of whom are presumably just as frustrated by all this as we are….

LipbalmOrKnickers · 25/05/2022 15:21

Good god come on man. Make a point or just slide off your chair and army crawl to freedom.

😂

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 25/05/2022 15:26

AH/DDM seemed to entirely mix up the concepts of 'protecting one's account' and 'blocking individuals'
Whatever.
At least that is over.

Tessa84 · 25/05/2022 15:26

I think there have been some inaccuracies presented about how Twitter works, so some observers are putting concerns in the chat. I wish Ben would have objected in the re-cross. And made the point that witness was contradicting himself. I know is not proper and the Tribunal ought to go there by themselves but given how difficult it is to keep awake wot Mr DdM string of words..

Chrysanthemum5 · 25/05/2022 15:27

Do you think JR has several versions of that dress she's wearing or is it the same one as yesterday?

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 25/05/2022 15:27

I need to not only name change but bath in bleach after all this. If you know you know.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 25/05/2022 15:27

Good grief that was painful. And now we've got Kathryn Cronin to 'look forward to'. Going to find a Daim bar.

Pyjamagame · 25/05/2022 15:27

That was worse than my ten year old child's blow by blow accounts of Minecraft building activities.

Next witness:
Kathryn Cronin - senior member of Garden Court Chambers and former Joint Head until January 2017; barrister, area of practice: immigation
www.gardencourtchambers.co.uk/barristers/kathryn-cronin/sao
Role in the case: My understanding is that AB made a request to view correspondence about her by a fellow barrister at GCC, Stephen Simbet QC ( www.gardencourtchambers.co.uk/barristers/stephen-simblet-qc/sao ); the results showed abusive messages about AB and her solicitors by Mr Simbet; AB then filed a complaint with GCC about this, and KC was assigned to investigate AB’s complaint. KC not only rejected AB’s complaint wholesale, but KC took it upon herself to investigate AB, and made a decision that AB’s should APOLOGISE to Mr Simbet for her complaint! Ok then....😳
Bio:
“Kathryn has an extensive and varied immigration, asylum and family law practice. She is known for her representation of vulnerable clients, in particular asylum and human rights cases involving women and children. Kathryn was ranked for immigration (Band 1) and family law in Chambers UK 2019.
Background:
Kathryn was an active member of Chambers from 1980 to 1989, and following varied legal experience in Australia, where she is admitted to practice, she returned to Chambers in June 2001.
In her first period at chambers from 1980 to 1989, Kathryn had an extensive practice in immigration, asylum and family matters. She was particularly involved in cases involving unaccompanied child refugees. She was the author of the handbook published by the Children's Legal Centre entitled: Children: Immigration and Nationality and advised them generally on immigration and nationality issues concerning children.
From 1989 to 1996 Kathryn was associate professor in law at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, where she lectured and published on immigration, refugee and human rights law, and on children's law issues. From 1989 to 1996 she was also general counsel to the Australian parliamentary committee on immigration and advised the committee and parliament on legislative and policy matters associated with immigration and refugee law, including on the legislative arrangements for the domestic violence and gay partner concessions in the immigration rules.
From 1996 to 2001, Kathryn was commissioner and then deputy president of the Australian Law Reform Commission and principal author of their reports on children in the legal process and on the working practices of the Australian federal and family courts and merits review tribunals, including the immigration and refugee review tribunals.
In addition to her practice at the Bar, Kathryn has continued her academic writing and training - including as a guest lecturer for the 2009 LSE masters programme Understanding Women's Human Rights - for which she wrote the course paper, Women Victims - Criminal, Anti-Trafficking, Asylum and Immigration Law Arrangements.”

MythicalReasonableTwitterUser · 25/05/2022 15:29

How are they going to make that extended and partially incorrect Twitter lesson interesting in the movie? I suggest depicting various characters' thoughts and daydreams while they drone on and on

Ameanstreakamilewide · 25/05/2022 15:30

This is JR's wardrobe, except full to the brim with her 'lucky jackets'...

She presses the wee button and just picks one at random, every day.

Cutting room floor all of that. We'll just have techy green figures and letters across the screen.

I recommend a comedic, droney, montage that intercuts with observers falling asleep at their keyboards.

Anyone else cannot see the witness?

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 25/05/2022 15:32

I can see her.

WallaceinAnderland · 25/05/2022 15:32

This whole case is based around a tweet. Is it really credible that AH would come to tribunal with absolutely no knowledge of twitter?

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 25/05/2022 15:33

What was the point of all that?

I manage to extract the information that some of GCC were blocked by Allison. Was there anything else?

drwitch · 25/05/2022 15:33

Its not plausible that they would not have heard of Helen Steel. The spy cops thing was re-emerging around then iirc. - There is also the keir starmer link

You'd think they could find a QC that is familiar with Twitter and tweeting.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 25/05/2022 15:34

At this point nothing would surprise me. Equalities barristers with no knowledge of equalities law etc

ickky · 25/05/2022 15:34

BC asking KC asking about a complaint AB made in 2015 about not getting good briefs.

I sense BC is in a hurry. DdM took much longer than expected.

nauticant · 25/05/2022 15:34

Fuck me, AB's take home pay in 2015 was around £20K. I knew the criminal bar was bad but that's terrible.

WinterTrees · 25/05/2022 15:34

Tessa84 · 25/05/2022 15:31

I can't see her.

Still DdM's name on a black box, as if my laptop can't quite move on from it either.
