PS I can understand MH's reluctance to put her head above the parapet. I notice another story in the Mail about her today (asking for help from twitter to find a painting), and the comments have been pre-moderated, and are still horrid.

Oh well done Mishal! This is starting to get some traction now.

I know we're accustomed to being brave and then rescinding but whenever someone makes a step, they have to be supported and recognised.

The response on twitter was "bigots" and "Irish bigots" in the main.

I don't know why but this has really made me laugh. Is there something bigoted about picking out a particular nationality? I can't put my finger on it.
