Right, done for Amazon.co.uk. However, I also have a (separate) account with Amazon.com in the US and the LGB Alliance is not an option on that site. (And they are currently promoting the Trevor Project which may well do much good work but was cited by Daniel Radcliffe in his tweet against JK Rowling so I refuse to support it).

Straight female here too - now LGB Alliance supporter on Amazon Smile.

How many spurious claims do TRAs have to make before the Charity Commission can tell them to fuck off?

For anyone who didn't know, they have been at the Tory conference this week, and 2 different Cabinet Ministers told them it matters how many Twitter followers they have:

Why does it matter? Do Cabinet Ministers realise that Twitter followers and likes can bought?

The number of Twitter followers doesn't necessarily reflect engagement.

Pink News for example have a large following but their engagement rate of people liking and commenting is very poor for most tweets. The LGBA do better on that score with less followers.

Also Stonewall as well actually. For a famous org with a large following their support via likes is not where you would expect it to be.

I'm not sure Cabinet Ministers are known for being bright so they probably don't realise that!

Christ that’s depressing! I mean yes lots of ppl should follow LGBA but the idea that cabinet fucking ministers allow policy decisions to be influenced by how many followers an organisation has on twitter is worrying on so many levels!

It's a bit irritating to have to keep remembering to sign on via smile before purchasing but now I've bookmarked it, every purchase benefits them.

Apparently the main reason (or one of the main reasons at least) Ms K Stock is no longer an employee of Sussex Uni- the students found out she was a trustee for the LGB Alliance.

The LGB Alliance this year lost £96k in a failed attempt trying to ban trans-women from using women's toilets. Maybe you can help fund their next failed attempt?

The Crown Office and the Police Service in Scotland wasted a load of tax payer money on the ludicrous case against Marion Millar, perhaps you'd like to give HMRC an extra chunk of your money to offset this loss and help fund future wasteful cases such as that MargaritaPie?

That doesn't make the students sound any better, in fact ot makes them sound like homophobes forcing a lesbian out of her job because she is a trustee of a charity which focuses on same sex relationships.

Also the case you are referring to raised money separate to LGBA, and did not divert cash donated specifically to LGBA, but you already knew that Marg, you just throw mud around and hope some sticks.
