As eager as Margerita might be for this thread to be about Zoophilia, it's about LGB Alliance and it's important that LGB people hsve an org that looks out for them. Most people think it's a good idea for charities to have a specific focus, and it's great that LGB have one for them.

Thanks for this thread, I do find it interesting how the BBC article positions LGBA alongside Stonewall as a legitimate charity, despite everything else. Change is afoot, and the sooner the better.

Isn't the this the FIRST time the BBC have put LGBA alongside SW in an article?

That’s a cracking letter linked upthread. The smearing is desperate. No one has yet explained to me why it’s OK to have dozens of trans focused charities that don’t campaign on LGB issues, but it’s unacceptable to have one LGB charity that focuses only on LGB.

Must they all always be addressed together or not?

It seems sensible that if Stonewall etc wish to campaign for same gender attraction among their aims, then the field is open for those who prefer to focus on same sex (or same sex + opposite sex) attraction , and LGB alliance are well placed to do that.

Apologies. I wasn't intending to derail the thread with the link to the Z paper, just confirm that it's some of the LGBTQ+++++ types who want to add Z, and LGB Alliance have objected to this.

@Outbutnotoutout if you google Amazon Prime Smile you should end up in the right sort of place to opt in and set up your charity.
It would be quite a message if every GC person set up the LGB Alliance as their charity for a while! Perhaps some of the shops that have jumped on the Mermaids etc bandwagon may realise that their virtue signalling is potentially alienating a significant number of people. Not to mention a bit of a boost to the LGBA coffers to help them become a real alternative to SW.
