Thought it deserved a thread of its own on this day of the shopping trip to Glasgow.
JK Rowling has just tweeted it too in response to Joanna Cherry. How I love all these strong, brave women.

Ah we spied one goon during the speeches. He was masked up with a bandana and dark glasses while the police spoke to him. He hung around up the back. Did more show when everyone moved on to the beer garden?

That was amusing - I didn't even notice them. It was pointed out to me after and I was most amused.

It was an excellent turn out and so fantastic to see all that support for Marion Miller (who is lovely) - it shows me how much support and solidarity women have for one another. The atmosphere was amazing and so positive, so many women (and some men)) all just talking to one another even though they had never met before.

They say don't meet your heroes but I had the opportunity to meet several heroes of this and I wasn't disappointed with any of them, absolutely brilliant people every one of them. It really recharged the batteries to meet so many interesting and passionate people and just to chat to all these folk in a relaxed environment - because it was - it was so welcoming and friendly.

Oh and ftr I saw plenty of young women there, quite a large number of them and it was a joy to see.

Yes. I think it's unfair to claim she said she was "anti-LGBTQ" just because she was GC, and she's not just some random, she's her friend, but yes I do agree she shouldn't have been brought up in the meeting, as it was going to be painful for DP.
