Amazing what great progress LGBTQ+ rights have made just during the past 3 or 4 decades!

Certainly, the gay rights movement has been some of the quickest and most successful civil rights movements in history. Let's hope the more recent harm to lesbian and gay men's rights goes back from whence it came!

Looks like all the good work Stonewall did over the last few decades will be tarnished by their current attack on LGB people.

What is this in feminism?

Yes, happy pride month to all gay, bisexual and lesbian people. Sex based rights are so important and that encompasses the right to love someone of the opposite sex without fear of discrimination. Hopefully the takeover of pride by other 'movements' can be reversed eventually, the tide is definitely turning.

Same-sex attraction is superb!

Pride in what exactly?

Given we are standing at over 20 identities in the LGBTQ+ movement including such gems as "two spirited", "questioning" and according to some "kink" and "furries" I'm frankly baffled as to what exactly we are being asked to celebrate....

I remember Pride being a "proud" celebration of same sex attraction that I was excited and happy to celebrate with my (then) small children. It was wonderful and uplifting.

Today I wouldn't even take my teens to watch a parade that's inevitably going to encompass gimp masks, fetish gear, near nakedness, BSDM and sexualised furry/anime attire.

I recently saw a poster on here say (in all seriousness) that the correct acronym is now LGBTQQICAPF2K so surely is being exclusionary by not stating the rest of the letters?
