For me today is International Women’s Day, in my part of the world it is 8th of March, so Happy International Women’s Day to all who are celebrating it today. In the UK and other similar time zones Happy International Women’s Day to you tomorrow. Hope there is lots of love, support and recognition of women everywhere. We’ve been through a hell of a journey throughput history. Keep fighting for equal opportunity, fighting against misogyny and stand by each other.

I’m going to take my daughter out for an adventure today. What are your plans?

Complain to the BBC again

...and having a gin to toast the women who fight on.

I'm going to prepare my questions for political party canvassers, and have them all written out, ready to hand, next to the front door.

Twizbe - I have a couple of these radicalteatowel.co.uk/face-masks/suffragette-stripes-face-mask-with-elastic. I find them comfortable and good quality, and like the the company's ethical policy too.

Started my morning with coffee and by emailing all my TD's about the housing of male bodied prisoners in a women's prison here in Ireland. Sent the email and then promptly felt a knot in my stomach, it is wrong that I should feel on edge about pointing out the risk to women in that situation isn't it. Lots to reflect on today.

Morning all. Happy IWD. I've started the day by setting up a regular donation to Women's Aid. Going to request my paper census in a minute so I can put my written objections to it and then have an email to my MP to write.
I'm loving seeing everything the rest of you are doing too. I think I'm also going to copy McDuffy's idea and write up some thank you cards too.
