... is what the clothing brand Lucy & Yak thinks people should use instead of ladies and gentlemen or guys and gals when referring to others in posts in their official Facebook group. "Folx" is also acceptable as is anything else gender-neutral.

I'm in the group because I quite like their clothes but not sure I'll ever want to buy from them now if they are so keen to erase my identity as a woman.

Someone also suggested they do Harry Potter themed clothes the other week and you can imagine how well that went down. (The admins immediately posted a link about JKR being transphobic and closed the comments.)

Just on their website - are all their clothes explicitly unisex? Does that work in terms of sizing? Or in practice are some items very specifically designed for one sex?

I was curious too. Their sizes are in regular and long (for the dungarees). I don't know how that translates though, are men familiar with what we a size 12 or 16 would fit like? Aren't men's trousers sized more in waist measurement?

Ugh. Gender identity ideology is so nauseatingly twee at times.

I fell for the hype on here and bought a pair of dungas from them last year. Most unflattering item of clothing EVER. I'm all about comfort, and I have a pair of denim dungas that I've had for years and still love (not from this shower) but the Lucy and Yak ones are just yuk. Can't even bring myself to wear them round the house.

Apart from its vulgar meaning , morning glory is exclusionary of others who aren't in pre-lunch time zone. And ludicrous if no one is.

Interestingly they used to sell everything in S, M, L type sizing... and then not too long ago (middle of last year?) changed the dungarees to numerical (women's) sizing. I imagine they will change back soon now they are so "neutral".

I am not a morning person, I need three cups of tea before I start feeling human. Morning glory is literal violence and erases my existance
