FPFW are going to court - some fairly heavy digging required...

The spades seem to be flying!

I'm in Wales Merched Cymru (not that it matters for the census) - great to see us represented in these discussions.

@MerchedCymru

Thanks for the reply and the update.

Great seeing Welsh on here - makes me ashamed that my knowledge of Irish Gaelic doesn’t go beyond ‘sláinte’ but I am very happy to raise a glass Wine to you!

It really is so fantastic to see so many women coming together on this issue, I just love it so much!

@BarbaraofKent
Indeed, great to see women mobilising. The icing on the cake is winding up Stoneballs (lol), they get so hacked off when they see groups of women coordinating and planning. That why they accuse groups like WPUK of being 'hate' groups, and say they're funded by right wing extremists or religious groups. Because everything they do is motivated by money, funding from the ONS, financial institutions government, local authorities. They must be terrified that the gravy train is going to dry up. But women getting together motivated only by a need to protect women and girls. Scary stuff indeed, poor lambs (grin)

@Oldstyle1 Yes I agree there's lots of opinions re the coordinated campaigning I'm more leaning towards getting on board. I wrote to my MP, Liz T etc, ranted on Twitter (probably a lost cause but cheaper than therapy!).

Thing is, we know Stonewall is really wound up by seeing womens groups flourishing, denouncing WPUK as being a 'hate' group, funded by extremists. Its interesting because lots of services are paying for Stonewall to give advice and consult with, but all these pesky womens groups and doing it for free. Women in Canada etc are pretty complementary to us Brits getting our act together. So my gut feeling is to go with it.

I guess at the end of the day its a free country, so we can all decide how we want to go forward. Its going to be an interesting few weeks
