NHS Psychiatrist speaks up about Surrogacy

The Daily Mail has long-promoted the light and fluffy version of surrogacy so it's really good to see some balance reflected in this article. More of this please.

Absolutely. Well said, that man. Shared this. The Mail yet again covering issues important to women, shame it's such a difficult paper to read online with all the adverts and random bits inserted in the text.

So far 10 babies by surrogates and wants 90 or so more...

And a shame it is so easily dismissed as right wing.

Increasingly the DM and the Times are the only newspapers covering anything remotely related to women (and the Times is very very pro surrogacy with at least two of their writers personally benefitting).

What an interesting read and very pleased to see the DM covering this.

This is a critique of the NYC Times article which was published on Mon, the date when the law came into force. Commercial surrogacy is now legal in NYC.

Dr Max Pemberton isn't the only one who has concerns over surrogacy, it's a relief to see someone covering the NYC law is a more critical and balanced way
