This is a great compilation of the key arguments made. Well worth a watch.

Excellent work NecessaryScene1, thanks for all the great links.

I think the beauty of the documentary is bringing in all the different viewpoints, from a wide range of people that others may not necessarily agree with. I can't see how, for example that Dr. JC Jones , Blair White and Jordan Peterson could all really be considered to be coming from the same place. At all. The montage just shows different people with different perspectives to explain different points!

For instance, Douglas Murray (who along with Andrew Doyle) says some great things about identity politics but I don't share much else of his political outlook. I have little to no idea about J Peterson which is why I have chosen this example.

@merrymouse

Because all the content is made elsewhere as far as I can see, none is original for this video. And I can't see the likes of serious feminists like Jane Clare Jones and Sheila Jeffries agreeing to be in a video with Posie Parker and Blaire White, let alone Jordan fucking Peterson.

Agree. I don't know enough about SJ, PP or BW, to comment, but I don't think JCJ would happily take part in a video that attempted to align her views with those of JP.

But why do people's views have to align on everything?

Can't people share views on some topics and diverge on others? Muslims and Christians are highly likely to believe in biological sex, but unlikely to agree as to whether Jesus is the son of God. Plenty of left-leaning atheists will dispute that God even exists, but will agree that biological sex is real.

The fact that so many different people agree on this one topic is not a weakness.

It’s not agreement if somebody accepts that sex exists, but very much thinks that all the gender stereotypes are true.

I also think this issue has been adopted by some men who couldn’t care less about women’s rights, but just want to own the libs.

Most people don’t think the earth is flat. Many of them are also very stupid and very bad.

I liked it. But would like some more statistics interpolated which could easily be done for UK but less likely USA/Canada possibly with more private practices. Eg how many trans, what the procedures are, how many retrans, how many trans are murdered assaulted. How many girls v boys trans, actual figures of those diagnosed with MH problems . It would also be good to have Mermaids etc interviewed - presumably The Tavi is planning appeal so wouldn't contribute. Numbers, numbers, sources of funding. And interviews with the CEO and HRs of the companies who've supported what's going on about why they did it and whether they realize the potential impact on women.

@crosstalk - here are some other recent documentary options that go into more depth.

(also largely YouTube clip based, but more depth) (Swedish TV documentaries which managed to reverse planned a law relaxation on children's treatment)

And here are Hannah Barnes and Deborah Cohen's BBC Newsnight reports that have been shortlisted for a Royal Television Society award:

Just to clarify that JCJ doesn’t seem to have a problem at all with Actually Karen’s Terf Wars.
