Another Female Sex Offender

MightyMike · 09/10/2020 21:33

Rachel Smith

I'm not saying this person with an Adams apple, high hair line and conviction for a crime 99% of the time is committed by a person with an XY chromosome is not female (and yes, I know females can be deviant and evil to).

But, how can I be sure they are female, how can I know that what is reported is factually correct if we are not allowed to state biological facts.

I’m honestly not sure but the Daily Mail I don’t think normally describes transwomen as female do they?

Humiliatedbutproud · 09/10/2020 21:43

Click on the Rachel Smith headline.

MightyMike · 09/10/2020 22:09

Here's another "woman" sex offender

It depends who writes the Mail report. Sometimes they're great and make it clear it's Not A Woman. Other times it must be their wee woke misogynist writing it and they just ignore the male sex fact altogether.

This must have been the latter.

IAmNotAGirl · 10/10/2020 09:26

Daily Mail are bound by the same guidelines as other newspapers so in articles where the person the article is about is happy for it to be disclosed they do Eg articles the person thinks will show them in a good light. If it's about an offender they try and include a photo as that's all they are allowed.
'Female' offender with 50 previous conviction' yeah right

TeaAndStrumpets · 10/10/2020 09:43

So really, if the newspapers can "show" rather than "tell" the true sex of the defendant, that is a cunning wheeze and keeps them out of trouble. I understand they have to tread carefully.

However, all their blind and partially sighted subscribers are missing out on this extra information. This seems quite discriminatory to me, as information the newspaper evidently wishes to convey is withheld.

DryHeave · 10/10/2020 09:48

The comments are depressing.

nevertrustaherdofcows · 10/10/2020 10:20

50 previous convictions

SunsetBeetch · 10/10/2020 10:23

That's a rough 56.

MightyMike · 10/10/2020 10:52

It's so depressing that biological facts are being ignored.
The comments seem to be along the lines of "women" get an easier ride because of their sex and men have a harder more discriminatory time in terms of sentencing, because of their maleness.

But the reality is that some men who think women get an easier time are very wrong. Women don't tend to commit sex crimes, unless with a male accomplise, therefore some mitigating circumstances, ie coercion, mental capacity, etc.
But most infuriating is that the real fact based stats on crime must be wildly inaccurate, which will lead to policies and future guidelines/law being unfair to women and trans people and, dare I say it, men as well.

What would happen if someone was to say, "Erm, I think that woman might be a man" in the DM comments section?

Suffrajester · 10/10/2020 11:54

@DryHeave

The comments are depressing.
The comments are heavily moderated. I wonder if there were a few pointing out the elephant in the room and then deleted.
justanotherneighinparadise · 10/10/2020 12:00

This is becoming confusing isn’t it!!!

Apollo440 · 10/10/2020 12:02

They won't allow you to post a comment pointing out the obvious. To add further insult to injury they have said 'female' rather than 'woman'. Another word loses it's meaning. Apparently their sex is totally irrelevant to this type of crime.

StrangeLookingParasite · 10/10/2020 12:06

@SusannaSpiderHands

What would happen if someone was to say, "Erm, I think that woman might be a man" in the DM comments section?
It would be unlikely to be published.
Melroses · 10/10/2020 12:15

Those comments must be heavily censored. The picture looks like my local butcher with long hair (his was still short yesterday - phew!)

corlan · 10/10/2020 12:19

I think Rachel may be identifying as 56 - either that or Rachel had a very hard paper round.

willloman · 10/10/2020 12:21

Yes, I did wonder at this too. Doesn't sit right somehow.

Apollo440 · 10/10/2020 12:22

I tried to post a comment several times. They were all rejected. So women can continue to get the blame for this crime, which is exactly what TRAs want. The only fly in the ointment is that to rape someone in the Uk you need a penis and those crimes are harder to hide

RoyalCorgi · 10/10/2020 12:37

They seem to have stopped publishing comments yesterday - the last one is 21 hours ago, about lunchtime on Friday. Probably they were inundated with comments and decided they didn't have the time to moderate them all so just didn't bother to publish any more.

SusannaSpider · 10/10/2020 19:27

I tried to post a comment several times. They were all rejected.
AhSad, I asked because it seemed strange that no one had pointed out the obvious in the comments.

BoreOfWhabylon · 13/10/2020 08:49

Thes pics are freely available on Rachel's Facebook, according to @Glinner (Don't do Facebook myself)

RufustheSniggeringReindeer · 13/10/2020 08:52

Oh shit on a stick bore

Im sat having a nice coffee and you do that!
