Given the tweet is poorly worded and childish in the extreme I doubt a biologist ever saw it, let alone that it represents some kind of considered view of the society.

It's a trope but I think this really is a case of some poorly trained 19YO being on twitter duty.

Organisations should start realising that being young doesn’t make someone a better candidate for working on social media, that it requires skill and shouldn’t be handed to trainees and interns with little life experience.
