He apparently purposely flicked the ball at a lineswoman who got hit in the throat and was disqualified.

People on Twitter are saying it was an accident. The footage isn't very clear but considering he's a top tennis player (Ie excellent control over the ball) and known misogynist it doesn't seem surprising he was angry and decided to take it out on a woman.

Particularly unimpressed by this BBC Sport tweet. How the fuck do they know it was "accidentally"? Aren't they meant to be unbiased?

I mean it's an interesting wind up but you've got to tone down the spectacular stupidity if you want people to bite

Quite.

Love tennis - preferred sport to watch and play. I didn't say he was aiming at the line judge. I thought - from watching the footage repeatedly - that he was aiming the ball behind him diagonally as all players do to get rid of balls at the end of a game or to discard one of the three balls they are usually given when serving.

And yes, I think, like many others on this thread, that Djokovic is a complete ar$e but really cannot pin this incident down to it being an incident of deliberate male rage against a woman.

Oh, I don't think it was deliberate! Just badly done, his temper ruling again!

And have you seen the shite the poor woman is getting posted at her? Djokovic has posted, asking his fans to lay off, she did nothing wrong, but even my local Facebook page is full of bile and aggression aimed at her!
