Interesting guest list!

OP posts:
BringbackLang · 01/03/2020 10:08

I think it'll be more a case that the BBC have actually bothered to do some research are numerous complaints and gone 'oh dear'.

Jeanhatchet · 01/03/2020 10:08

I haven't seen any feminist women object to Hayden appearing. It would only be a good thing.

@SoldiersinPetticoats phew - I'm glad. All cleared up. She is a decent woman.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 01/03/2020 10:10

It appears Hayden is going to sue the BBC (well, hold them legally accountable). Another interesting case to look out for.

MummBraTheEverLeaking · 01/03/2020 10:12

Their modus operandi then.

NeurotrashWarrior · 01/03/2020 10:14

Seriously its?

🤣

NeurotrashWarrior · 01/03/2020 10:15

Actually I wish they were appearing.

Perhaps that's why the bbc cancelled. Didn't want the backlash on their trans agenda.

FloralBunting · 01/03/2020 10:16

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

I got nothing else.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 01/03/2020 10:16

lol sue the BBC for not wanting you on their program once they learned more about your background and past activities. Yeah good luck with that.

I’ve got that book (Deeds Not Words) on the to-read pile.

CallofDoodee · 01/03/2020 10:22

Oh no, I was really looking forward to Stephanie being on the show!

Whatisthisfuckery · 01/03/2020 10:25

Damn you BBC, I was looking forward to seeing Ms Hayden on the telly. It would have been so enlightening for the public.

LizzieSiddal · 01/03/2020 10:25

Can’t wait. Sunlight and all that.

FloralBunting · 01/03/2020 10:27

I've now seen the screenshot.

Can someone send help. I can't breathe. Asking the local MP to contact the BBC Director General like she's Hayden's secretary and anyone would give a shit about Hayden's pompous orders😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣

FloralBunting · 01/03/2020 10:28

Laughing so much I've cocked up the formatting.

Binterested · 01/03/2020 10:29

Shame because I dont believe in no platforming. There must be some other reason because the BBC certainly wouldn’t listen to women’s preferences as to who should debate women’s rights.

CallofDoodee · 01/03/2020 10:29

I want these people to go on these shows, I'm not about no platforming. Paris Lees and Shon Faye refuse to go on with anyone who they think might not fawn all over them, and who might be interested in standing up for women's rights.

Violetparis · 01/03/2020 10:30

Sky News has just run a story about a patient taking the Tavistock Trust to court over her treatment, it's showing on the news banner at the bottom of the screen too. I noticed The Guardian has a couple of articles about feminism and transgender issues on it's website. I think the issues are being discussed more widely now.

Violetparis · 01/03/2020 10:32

Also, there is a Women's hustings for the Labour leadership candidates on Wednesday to tie into International Women's Day, could get interesting.

BringbackLang · 01/03/2020 10:35

Oh I'd loved to see SH sue the BBC. Can you imagine. The worst of woke corporations 😂😂😂. Perhaps it one the start of less wokedom.

Cwenthryth · 01/03/2020 10:38

Ooh is there Violet? Great.

I see they’ve put the housing debate first. Because otherwise they wouldn’t get on to it I guess.

FloralBunting · 01/03/2020 10:43

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not about 'deplatforming' Hayden. But it looks like Hayden's own less than praiseworthy behaviour may have given the Beeb pause, rather than Hayden's unpleasant position on women having rights, which Hayden is of course allowed to air, and certainly should so that everyone can see what drives all this.

But failing that sunlight, I'll take a narc tantrum and Hayden pompously ordering Hayden's female MP to contact the DG of the BBC any day.

Cwenthryth · 01/03/2020 10:51

Prof Freedman kicking ass on the housing issue as well - the UN being her main area of research she knows her stuff on human rights to adequate housing. The woman who was arguing against housing being a human right was completely unable to counter her. She’s formidable.

Jeanhatchet · 01/03/2020 10:55

@Cwenthryth she really did make those points effortlessly ... she's an expert and it shows. Maybe Hayden wasn't sufficiently equipped for the debate on both issues .... Rosa Freedman is

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 01/03/2020 10:58

Maybe Hayden wasn't sufficiently equipped for the debate on both issues

Hayden:
"I was also meant to be contributing to a debate on housing, which is a particular specialism of mine. My contribution on transgender issues was proposed to be minimal. #bbctbq"

Sweet Christmas if I read any more of SH’s claims this morning my eyes may roll clear out of my head.

Anyway, SH is not on the program. Let’s watch the debate now and focus on what is actually being discussed rather than a narcissist’s tantrums on Twitter.
