Women have died, been imprisoned, been maimed for life, lost their future fertility, got into debt, left their existing kids motherless, had to change their whole life plans, been kicked out by their own families, plus (name any other terrible, unwanted, avoidable outcome here), all for want of a safe, legal abortion. This is still happening all over the world.

The best abortion experience anyone can have, even where it is safe and legal, is still to be lucky enough not to need an abortion in the first place, however sympathetically provided it is and the least physically invasive procedure that a woman is able to have.

But of course these ignorant, hateful men to taking the piss out of all this are just ‘having fun’ or ‘making art’. Prick News’ uncritical reporting is shameful.

Pride (the publication) was celebrating the delightful ‘Ana Bortion’ recently. In an article about top amusing drag names.

Because everyone knows this subject is hilarious.

Pink News apparently going into every gory detail with accompanying photos. I had to give up half way through because it was so horrific.

Yes title was explicit but I could have pointed out there were also photos. And it was the images more than the words that upset me.

I have had that on facebook, someone sends round a link and you suddenly find yourself looking at an image that is then imprinted on your mind.

Maybe you could report your thread and ask MN to add a warning that the link contains explicit photos?
