Finally the men are piping up and even referencing fair play for women. Finally.

Beth Jones of "women just need to try harder" fame? Reliable study then...

Yes, right up there with Joanna Harper - transwoman - advises IOC committee in 2015.

Matereality · 20/10/2019 13:53

Again, transmen are the voices missing.

Sport can be more inclusive of transgender people. Female sport should routinely include transmen and NB females. Male sport should include and welcome transwomen. It would be safer and fairer for everyone involved.

Cross sex medication would have to be disallowed. But there is plenty of sporting precedence for that. Many people take prescribed medication which disbars them from competition.

McKinnon said: “In many Olympic disciplines, the gap in performance is bigger between first an eighth in a single sex event than it is between the first man and the first women.”

Balderdash

I just got called a TERF for pointing out that women have been oppressed for thousands of years.

The clever trick of this MRA movement is that it has turned the word feminist into a dirty word.

Always has been, in many quarters.

JellySlice

I agree, it is balderdash, but certain people do not use facts to make their agument, they use "Norms of assertion", which basically means the person who shouts loudest wins Hmm

RufusthebewiIderedreindeer · 21/10/2019 08:48

The researchers said that there is no evidence that transgender women have a sporting advantage over athletes born female

Well if thats the case then transmen would be right up there on all the scoreboards

RufusthebewiIderedreindeer · 21/10/2019 08:53

JUST BECAUSE YOU WEREN'T FUCKING LISTENING DOESN'T MEAN WE WEREN'T SPEAKING
