I disagree with some of what Posie says and does.

This is N O R M A L because women have diverse views.

What really fucks the TRAs off is that unlike most people (esp women) Posie doesn’t GAF what they say.

They’ve forced many an uppity woman (and the occasional man) to give humiliating, obsequious apologies for heresy.

There's a couple of old names I had when I first started out on FWR that was always agreed with before I read further... think first time I looked at this board was early 2018 - but I know my earlier views when still learning got more receptive responses.

Yep, I asked because of her visit to the US and the people she aligned with whilst there.

I cannot understand why feminists support her when she appears to support people who are the very embodiment of anti feminist.

It’s not even about Posie as an individual to me, as I said before it was clear who she was.

She sees trans as the most important issue and is willing to push aside anything else to achieve her goal - even if it means she undermines feminism, people of colour or anyone else.

Some People here are supporting her doing this but refusing to actually say it. Instead, it’s hiding behind Posie and her ‘right to free speech! She doesn’t care about your opinion!’

Which is fine but the supporters are refusing to admit that they are saying and are beating around the bush.

2B I think that is totally out of order. People name change for many reasons including not wanting people that knows them irl to be able to link their posts. That's really not on to do that.

I completely agree with you.

When I first came on here I started to think that I wasn't a good enough feminist because I didn't share some of the views that regular posters had on the trans issue. I really was questioning why I thought what I thought, why other posters held their views, why my views differed etc.

This thread has opened my eyes. I can now see that the reason my views don't align is because many of these posters aren't coming from a feminist viewpoint - they are coming from an anti trans position first and foremost and then a concern for women comes below that.

I no longer care that my version of feminism isn't the same as some of these posters. In fact I am relieved that I can see how wrong it is to align with misogynists, racists and goodness knows who else just in order to push my agenda.

PP is free to say whatever she wants. I have no interest in what she says but I cannot understand how any decent person can defend her aligning with this particular man, on his channel. The only way it could be defended is if she went on there and confronted him about everyone of his views - which I'm guessing she didn't do.

I honestly do not understand how anyone with any integrity can defend the indefensible.
