I find it so ironic that something that reads like a terribly sick black comedy is pretty much only being shouted about from the rooftops by a comedian.

Just hoping someone at Stonewall takes the opportunity to 'refresh' that advisory group soon. So inappropriate.

That is a very good article. It would be interesting to see how many schools will have paid Stonewall for training for the new term in September?

It's worth remembering the current NSPCC fiasco where the NSPCC sent Carl Beech (convicted paedophile and fantasist) into numerous primary schools to talk to primary children about sexual abuse.

My child's school is a Stonewall Champion School and as if that isn't alarming enough, just knowing that Challenor is on the advisory board, is deeply disturbing. When I relayed this to the headteacher he was dismissive of any media coverage.

So please keep shining the light on this.

Some men get off on the perversion that we have no control over who is going into our children's schools. That we're alarmed. That children are vulnerable. That seemingly anybody can have unfettered access to minors.

Somebody wrote on here a couple of days ago that if we compiled a list of people we don't want going into schools and why (from a safeguarding perspective) then it would include all those characters who currently seem to be welcomed with open arms.

No longer on the Trans Advisory Group.

Hmmm.

Challenor's name has been removed from the list of advisory group members but as one of the Twitter posters points out some members of the advisory group choose to be anonymous. So Challenor might still be there.

Even if Stonewall were to confirm Challenor not being on the advisory group anymore I still don't trust any organisation that allowed Challenor such a position months and months after the facts of their background and behaviour became public knowledge. That Challenor wasn't removed instantly means Stonewall have no concept of appropriate safeguarding.

Ditto Jo Swinson and her Lib Dem advisors. Bunch of stubborn unlistening fools.
